The best that the debt collection establishment can do is keep on waving its Caveman artifacts around as if blood can be smashed out of a stone.
Bursting at the seams with corporate culture and legal professionals, the debt collecting agencies have not yet seen the light of the 21st Century ... perhaps that is unfair to the 20th Century - more like stuck in some late Medieval, early Industrial Revolution Age. To not pay your debts is just dishonorable, no matter what the circumstances ... really, wow, no wonder Lenin & Stalin & Mao & Che Guevara managed to get away with crimes against humanity and still be seen as heroes! In the meantime the predatory debt collectors froth at the mouth in frenzy, there are sequestration opportunities at auctions, with the ‘inside men’ in on the act from their comfortable banking lifestyles and their church going Sundays. Target the household in distress and you can earn a nice commission from telling your mates about the auction that comes up. Going to church every Sunday (sorry, 'places of worship' to be politically correct) is good cover too, no one will see the primal and vulgar character within you. Post biblically (sorry, 'holy scriptures' to be politically correct) on Facebook, it all helps with the deception. One can understand the motivation of this band of In-Humanity … what is far less understandable is that those with the power to change the inept laws that allow over charging of interest (interest cannot exceed capital) and the never ending next legal fees (there is no cap on these) cannot see the crucial need to stop the scavengers. Whilst the scavenging continues, municipal arrears will continue increasing, it is like playing shackled at ankles and wrists, barefoot too, against the All Blacks - albeit begrudgingly, they are the best in the world right now, despite the ludicrousness of that haka spectacle that we have to swallow before any of their games - well I do switch the tv off, the Zulus destroyed an entire British regiment at Isandlwana, what on earth did the Maoris do to compare with that other than being able to stick their tongues so far out that they could lick their toes? By the time a municipality tries to act to recover their arrears the private sector jackals and hyenas will have left only bones, ash and stones … Good luck to those who think the current paradigms for municipal debt management do not require a tsunami like shifting … !
