Our Municipal Products and Services
This spans two decades of products and services.
In the early 90s the focus was on the installation and implementation of Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
Then it 1995 it became apparent that one of the crucial missing ingredients in Municipal GIS was a dynamic link to the Municipal Treasury System.
A business decision was made to specialise on data mining and information delivery of treasury data into GIS.
In November 1996 the Samras User Group in Swellendam may have been the first treasury user group in South Africa to have been presented with the idea of a "Treasury GIS".
Georeality worked closely with Samras to develop a specialised Treasury GIS Interface product and service which continues to this day.
This set the course for the rest of the Georeality Municipal products and services.
As Clients began to request further customisations the Treasury GIS Interface grew into a number of specialised applications.
Without intending to, revenue collection and data cleansing became core.
Today the focus is multi-dimensional, summed up as delivering Business Intelligence for Sustainability.
Our GeoSmart provides for geographical viewing of whatever data/information/BI is created.
