Friendship
By Midori Chan
Would you like to have a cup of tea with me?
In a pavilion built on water
surrounded by maple and pine trees
bright green colored tea would be served on an old ceramic bowl
with a sweet pastry in the shape of a blossom
old carps of different colors swim around our teahouse
as we talk of things from bygone days
and watch the world goes by ...

Yet again, in this short verse combined with an extraordinary image Midori Chan captivates us.
We are there, relaxing, sipping tea, basking in the glow of friendship ... as the world goes by.
It is a beautiful world she invites us to see and embrace.
Harmony is one of the essential ingredients for Sustainability - the more at peace we are with ourselves the more at peace we will be with others, the more at peace we will all be with Nature.
