Evolvulus glomeratus 'Blue Daze'
(A low growing tender perennial and a member of the Morning Glory family, also commonly named Hawaiian Blue Eyes. They open in the sunlight and cloudy days don't suit them. We have much in common with the plant world and the sums of nature…)
The delicate self pity of a flower
Refusing to show her face
Soft gray-green fists
Cling to blue sheets
What else can be said
Of the Blue Daze
On a cloudy day?
November drops her leaves
Summer mourns for spring
We ache for the seasons
Ache to say -
What nature has explained
In the delicate self pity of a flower
